• Straight Tibia-Fibula plates are stronger, yet more malleable than conventional stainless steel one-third tubular plates, and accommodate Ø2.7mm, Ø3.5mm, or Ø4.0mm polyaxial locking or non-locking screws in any hole. The system comes equipped with a unique articulating fibula lengthening distractor and DrillGauge system for increased efficiency.
  • Lateral Fibula plate feature specially designed slots to accommodate the SYNDEX™ knotless syndesmosis implant’s lateral button, as well as Ø3.5mm or Ø4.0mm syndesmotic screws up to 60mm in 2mm increments to avoid medial soft tissue irritation. The system comes equipped with a unique articulating fibula lengthening distractor and DrillGauge system for increased efficiency.
  • Optimized for the treatment of tri-malleolar ankle fractures and the posterior approach, the Posterior Fibula plates offer superior distal fixation and fit compared to conventional one-third tubular plates. The system comes equipped with the unique DrillGauge system for increased efficiency.
  • Optimized for the treatment of tri-malleolar ankle fractures and the posterior approach, the Posterolateral Tibia plates feature a built-in anterosuperior screw trajectory to avoid impinging the tibiotalar joint space. Longer and more robust posterolateral tibia options are available in the Distal Tibia Plating System.
  • The Malleolar Hook plates features long, sharp hooks for enhanced small fragment fixation, while its guide aids in proper plate alignment and trajectory for the optional homerun screw.
  • Flex Fibula plates provide a unique, hybrid solution when neither anatomical plates nor conventional one-third tubular plates are ideal for the patient's anatomy or fracture pattern. Compared to traditional, more robust or rigid one-third tubular plates, the low profile, scalloped design of the Flex Fibula plates is more malleable and can be contoured in-situ with ease. An in-line, closely spaced two hole cluster allows the plate to achieve more fixation distally when used in lieu of anatomical plates.
  • SYNDEX™ with Constrictor® Technology is a knotless adjustable button technology indicated for syndesmosis repair. The implant features a novel, self-locking design to help prevent loss of reduction. The device demonstrates superior fixation under cyclic loading and a substantial difference in load-to-failure compared to the market leader1. UNITE Lateral Fibula plates feature specially designed holes to accommodate the lateral suture button with minimal prominence.
  • Syndesmosis buttress plates are thinner and narrower than our traditional straight plates, and more similar to the Flex Fibula plate design, with the added advantage of the SYNDEX™ with Constrictor® Technology specific button feature, allowing for the lowest profile construct to minimize soft tissue irritation.
  • Malleolar Peg Plates address avulsion fragments that require fixation, but are too small for 4.0 mm screws. The peg plates utilize parallel 2.0 mm locking pegs distally. The plate inserter features a built-in drill guide allowing for cannulated or solid technique. *The peg plate system is an ancillary caddy available upon request and is not standard in the Ankle Fracture system.
